- Devices can be specially designed for round, square, rectangular, or oval tube cross-sections.
- For sensitive materials such as aluminum or stainless steel, coated clamping surfaces or softer clamping jaws are often used to prevent surface damage.
5. Sawing fixtures for bent and end-formed tubes
- Special fixtures are required for tubes that are already bent or formed at the ends (e.g., by expanding, reducing, or flanging).
- These fixtures must precisely match the geometric shape of the tube to ensure secure clamping without deformation or damage.
- Contour-milled supports or form-fitted clamping jaws are often used for this purpose, which are individually adapted to the respective bending profile and end forming.
