Vertical circular saws

Vertical circular saws are often used for the precise cutting of pipes. Special sawing devices are used to saw pipes safely and accurately. These devices ensure a secure hold, precise cuts, and high repeat accuracy. Typical features and designs are:

1. Clamping devices (clamping jaws)

  • Pneumatic or hydraulic clamping systems are usually integrated to automatically secure the pipe.
  • Special jaws are often used, e.g., for thin-walled pipes, to prevent deformation during clamping and sawing.

2. Material supports and guides

  • Precise longitudinal stops or position stops ensure exact cutting lengths and consistently high quality of the workpieces.

3. Special devices

  • Multiple clamping allows several pipes to be clamped and sawn at the same time, which can significantly increase productivity.

4. Adjustments for different tube types

  • Devices can be specially designed for round, square, rectangular, or oval tube cross-sections.
  • For sensitive materials such as aluminum or stainless steel, coated clamping surfaces or softer clamping jaws are often used to prevent surface damage.

5. Sawing fixtures for bent and end-formed tubes

  • Special fixtures are required for tubes that are already bent or formed at the ends (e.g., by expanding, reducing, or flanging).
  • These fixtures must precisely match the geometric shape of the tube to ensure secure clamping without deformation or damage.
  • Contour-milled supports or form-fitted clamping jaws are often used for this purpose, which are individually adapted to the respective bending profile and end forming.

That's why green is the new blue!

Through material-efficient design, we save raw materials, shorten processing times, and reduce energy consumption—which lowers CO-emissions and protects the environment. Less material. Less energy. More responsibility.
