Embossing tools

Embossing tools are used to specifically shape pipes in order to create space for adjacent components or to improve certain mechanical and flow characteristics. In exhaust systems, embossing (dallings) is used to optimize installation space, reduce vibrations, or influence the stream.

Embossing methods:

  • Stamp-die embossing: A punch presses the pipe into a die and creates a defined indentation.
  • Roll embossing: Rollers with shaped profiles continuously deform the pipe.
  • Hydromechanical embossing: Liquid pressure or elastic media shape the pipe evenly.

Embossing types:

  • Punctual embossing: Individual indentations for targeted adaptation to the installation space.
  • Ring-shaped embossing: Circular deformations to improve stability.
  • Elongated embossing: For targeted shaping along the length of the pipe.

These techniques enable pipes to be precisely adapted to complex installation situations without impairing their functionality.

That's why green is the new blue!

Through material-efficient design, we save raw materials, shorten processing times, and reduce energy consumption—which lowers COemissions and protects the environment. Less material. Less energy. More responsibility.
